A little closer to home for me, Polaris World one of Spain’s largest holiday home developers, appears to owe quite a bit of money to Murcia town council!
In this report by VegaMediaPress, they suggest that Polaris World is having problems getting banks to guarantee their loans. I haven’t been able to find another source to cross-reference this information, so I do not know how accurate it is.
In other Polaris World news, they’ve bagged Woody Allen to play at the InterContinental La Torre Golf Resort Murcia for News Year’s Eve!

That’s true indeed. I am a spanish buyer with problems with Polaris World. I seems Polaris is insolvent now. Because of that there ir a huge delay in handing the properties. I do not know if you are aware in England that you can get your money back plus legal interests.
For further information you can visit http://www.foroconcursoacreedores.com/polaris-world/polaris-world-inglesThere you will find news about the current situation of Polaris World and you can check if you could claim your money back.
It is worth it to have a look!
