Buy one house and get another free (never thought I’d see a BOGOFF on property!)…

I have heard about a ‘buy one get one free’ offer on new properties from a developer here in Murcia. This particular developer struggled to sell their properties when the market was buoyant – I think that says it all. We haven’t seen prices falling on the new properties we have on our books but there are some good fixed sterling prices available.
There are some very good resale properties around at the moment but also some properties that are simply masquerading as bargains. It is really important to take your time, do your research and look for good value. The same old principles apply – does the property really meet your requirements? Is the location really what you want? Is the property itself well built? Is there a genuine reason for sale? Diving in after something just because it looks like a bargain can be an expensive mistake.
