Who Are We?
Debbie Jenkins and Joe Gregory – between us we own 9 properties in the UK and Spain. We’ve been investing in property since early 2000 and have made many mistakes! We think we’re getting better.

We’re the authors and publishers of many best selling books. Take a look at our bookstore to see more.

We’re not economists, financial advisors, property advisors, estate agents – we have no vested interest in you buying, selling or sinking. We are in the same boat as you and trying to work out what to do next!

What’s Our Plan?
This site has been developed to help people who have already invested in Spain or who may be thinking of investing to get things right. In particular when we started it in August 2008, doom and gloom was rife in the industry. The credit crisis, property crashes, repossessions, demolitions, you name it the press were talking about it.

Now whilst there is certainly a “re-adjustment” occurring (you’ll note we’re high on understatement on this site!) we wonder if there really is so much to be worried about. Is every expat in dire straits, are Brits flocking back to the UK in droves, are pensioners forced to give up on their retirement dreams? We want to find out the real truth about Spanish property, not just the attention grabbing headlines.

More About Debbie Jenkins

Debbie Jenkins lives with her husband Marcus, their two dogs (Dani and Fuggles) and their three little cats (Randy, Catalina & Gearl) in the mountains above La Murta where she also has a cave home. With a population of just 101 people Debbie’s new home is a far cry from the big city life she left behind in the UK. As well as 2 homes near La Murta Debbie and Marcus are currently renovating a large 3-storey townhouse in Moratalla.

Debbie has featured on Radio in the UK, regional Murcia TV and in many expat, women’s and property magazines including: Spanish Homes Magazine, Living Abroad, BMI Baby’s “Yeah Baby!” and Woman.
